Four extraordinary Israeli and Polish based musiacians are joined together with the urge to unite cultures with music, and go on a journey through Africa, Israel, America, arabic styles, jazz and classical music. By combining poetry in different languages and authentic rythms and polyrythyms the group has managed to create a unique sound. As a result of the very special chemestry and rich backrounds of the four band members they are able to create freely between the borders of spontanity and virstousity.

 

 Dana Herz, born in Jerusalem, finished her sudies at the Jerusalem Academy School of Music and the New-School Shtriker Conservatory jazz program. She has been  working and preforming as a jazz and classical singer since she was 15.

  She had studied with great artists such as Chilma Digilov, Julia Feldman, Ofer Landsberg and Bavat Marom.

  During the past few years Dana has been involved in many projects dealing with art and human rights work. She was a part of a project called "Heart-Beat" which is goal is to get together Israeli and Palestinian musicians to create and share music. They have been touring all across Europe and the U.S.

 

  Shachar Elnatan, born in Jerusalem, Israel, 1993 to a family of musicians. He started playing the guitar at the age of six, taught by his father, jazz guitarist Zohar Elnatan.
  Since then Shachar has spent some time in NY and studied with great artists such as: Peter Bernstein, Lage Lund, and Gilad Hekselman. In February 2012 he preformed alongside guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel in two shows held in Tel Aviv. He also had the chance to work with saxophonist Eli Degibri, joining his youth band which worked and preformed for two years.
  This past year Shachar won 'Rimon's Music School' jazz competition and was sent to participate at the IASJ conference in Graz, Austria.
  Currently Shachar is working with some of the most inspiring top musicians in Israel in addition to running his own band with his original compositions.
  Shachar is a recipient of the America Israel Cultural Foundation scholarship in the years of 2006-2013

 

  Daniel Schwarzwald, Born in Jerusalem, Israel, to a family of musicians. After trying a few instruments finally he decided to focus on the piano.

  While studieng classical music he was always improvising and atracted to creating and composing music. During his high school he had learned with some masters of improvisation such as Omri Mor and later with Slava Ganelin.

  After High school Daniel had been chosen to spend his army sevice playing all over the country and arranging music for different ensembels. At this time Daniel’s love for Hebrew poetry grew and he started writing and composing songs and working with many vocalists.

 

 

  Julia Biłat , grew up in Lublin, Poland and from a very young age  she plays the cello.

  She finished her Bachelor degree at the Music University of Warsaw and is an laureate of many international competitions and scholarship of classical music.

  In the years of 2007-2008 she was a participant of the international program the 'Morningside Music Bridge' in Calgary, Canada, where she she had collaborated with many musicians from around the world. She won 1st prize playing in at the Chamber Music Competition. After the program she was invited to stay in Canada and study with John Kadz. During this time she had done  masterclasses with many great teachers such as e.g. Lorence Lesser and Ron Leonard. 

  Recently Julia has spread her horizons and has started to work and performing with jazz and world music projects in Israel and Poland, while preforming around Europe.

She has also played in a world music band called “Melodia w Polsce”.  At 2011 the group won 3rd prize at the National Polish Radio competition for world music called "New Tradition".
